Faculty of Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering education has always been dynamic and in tune with the current development as well as innovations in creating new technology. In allignment with its motto 'Always together with Technological Advancements', the Faculty of Electrical Engineering now offers six full time and one part time programmes and is still expanding. 

The mission of the faculty is to create multi-skilled engineering graduates who can be entrusted to spearhead nation building in this information era. In addition to pursue academic excellence, the graduates should also acquire high moral, ethical and spiritual qualities.

On 1 January 2010 to 3 January 2010, a Malaysia Universities Robot Competition (MUROC) organized by Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) was held at Dewan 2020, Kangar, Perlis. The objective of MUROC is to test the competitors on their knowledge and skills for interpreting, designing a solution, and fabricating the mechanism that will address the challenges of each game. There were three games involved in this competition which were Fire Fighting Robot, Paintball Robot and Rope Climbing Robot.Team UiTM eventually has become the champion for Fire-fighting Robot, beating UPM in the final round.
